THE Pampanga Provincial Police Office on Monday, March 4, joined the country in celebrating this year's Women's Month through a kick-off and awarding of commendation ceremony at its parade grounds here.

Present in the event was Regional Trial Court Branch 46 Executive Judge Mary Anne Padron-Rivera, who served as the event's guest of honor and speaker.

Padron-Rivera together with Pampanga Provincial Police Office Director Jean Fajardo awarded 11 female police personnel.

The awardees are: PCMSgt. Rosie Zabat and PSSgt. Jean Clemente of the provincial personnel record management branch; PCMSgt. Cheryl Gubatan and PMSgt. Mary Ann Garcia of the provincial community affairs and development branch; PCPT Lalaine Gopez and PCMSgt. Eileen Catacutan of the provincial finance branch; PCMSgt. Cherry Pangan and PMSgt. Ria Diaz of the women and children protection desk; and Pat Lesly Pacia, Pat Joanna Canilao, and Pat Cokie Mae Yabut of the Miss Pampanga Ganda Pulis 2019.

"I want to thank Executive Judge Padron-Rivera for accepting our invitation. We are very particular to get a female visitor because she represents what women are capable of doing,” Fajardo said.

Fajardo lauded the awardees for giving proof that women are really excelling in their chosen fields.
