Pampanga records 15 PUI deaths, 350 more under investigation

PAMPANGA’S recorded deaths from patients under investigation (PUI) have doubled over night from the seven recorded deaths on April 5 to a total of 15 reported deaths from possible corona virus infection as of April 6.

Angeles City has the highest number of PUI deaths at six recorded cases followed by the City of San Fernando with three reported PUI deaths. Floridablanca and Mabalacat City both registered two PUI deaths, respectively.

Pampanga’s PUI statistics have also increased from 161 on April 5 to a total of 350 individuals with an almost 140 percent increase. Some 60 PUIs are currently admitted in several hospitals in Pampanga while some 214 are in home quarantine.

At present, Angeles City has the greatest number of PUIs at 78 individuals followed by San Fernando with 68 PUIs. Apalit town has the third largest number of PUIs at a total of 43 individuals.

As for coronavirus positive cases, Pampanga reported one new case on April 6 bringing the total of positive cases to 25. Coronavirus related deaths have now reached a total of six cases.
