PATROL Party-List Representative Jorge Bustos led Monday's (July 5) kick-off ceremony of the 26th Police Community Relations (PCR) Month at the Pampanga Police Provincial Office (Pampanga PPO).

Bustos, who was the guest of honor and speaker was welcomed by Police Colonel Arnold Thomas Ibay, Provincial Director, Pampanga PPO and his staff.

During the ceremony, Bustos headed the awarding of commendations to deserving Philippine National Police (PNP) personnel in recognition of their outstanding contributions to the realization of PNP's goals and objectives. He also conducted a signing of guest book, providing the camp with a memento of his visit.

Serving as a beacon of inspiration for men and women in uniform, Bustos delivered an enthralling keynote speech emphasizing our collective journey in the propagation of the public safety advocacy, with the promise that nobody will be left behind.

He also pledged to continue fighting for his fellow "kababayans" from poverty, working hand-in-hand with the country's police force to empower and capacitate every Filipino family.

As a sign of gratitude for his time and wisdom as guest of honor and speaker, Bustos was presented with several mementos of appreciation by the Pampanga PPO personnel.

The ceremony culminated with Bustos, exemplifying the Filipino spirit of "bayanihan," turning over one high-end desktop computer set, 30 sacks of rice, and 3,000 pieces of personal protective equipment to Pampanga PPO.
