PDEA seizes P1M worth of shabu

MORE than P1 million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride (shabu) were seized by combined elements of Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA)-Central Luzon, PDEA-National Capital Region (NCR) Southern District Office, SPD-DID and Taguig Police Station in Taguig City recently.

PDEA-Central Luzon Director Christian Frivaldo said three sachets of shabu weighing about 150 grams and with an estimated P1.02 million, as well as the marked money and other personal belongings were confiscated during the operation.

He added that two suspects, identified as a certain Mangulamas, 23, and Saripe Cadato, 45, were also arrested during the drug bust.

Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects.

Bacalso Ave. for operating without a business permit. The Province, which runs both terminals, maintains that it operates the facilities as a public service for passengers going to the province and vice versa. /
