Pelco 1 schedules power interruption in Magalang

PELCO 1 has scheduled a whole-day power interruption on Thursday, July 22, and said it will affect at least 13 areas in Magalang town.

The power outage has been scheduled at 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., according to the Pelco 1 management.

Areas that will be affected include San Pablo, San Agustin, Ayala, Santo Nino, Balitucan, San Vicente-Bliss, Escaler, Orchard, Pitabakan, Cabayung Sarul, Sacop Homes San Pablo, San Nicolas East, and Turu.

The power firm is set to conduct pole and line maintenance on said date.

Local officials urged the residents and businessmen to take necessary precautions.

The electric cooperative stated that electricity may restore electricity earlier than 4 p.m. once the maintenance is completed.

"Please be informed that electricity service will be restored as soon as the above-mentioned activity is completed. Thank you for bearing with us," Pelco 1 said.
