MORE artists are lending their star power to boost the presidential bid of Vice President Leni Robredo.

On Tuesday, April 12, celebrity hunk Piolo Pascual surprised the social media after he released a video of him formally endorsing Robredo.

In the more than two-minute video, Pascual speaks of the leadership skills of Robredo, particularly during the height of the pandemic when the Office of the Vice President united the Filipino through “bayanihan” in making PPE sets, donations of face masks and face shields and other essential goods.

He said Robredo’s leadership and accountability inspires many Filipinos to be united in helping other, especially during most difficult times.

Aside from Pascual, other notable artists who have publicly endorsed Robredo for presidency include Angel Locsin, Maricel Soriano, Angelica Panganiban, Nadine Lustre, Regine Velasquez, Ogie Alcasid and Anne Curtis, among others.

Numerous Filipino bands, and basketball and volleyball players have also expressed their support for the lone female presidential candidate.

Meanwhile, aside from Robredo, Pascual has also endorsed the reelection bid of the Ang Probinsyano Partylist.

The partylist was the first to get the public endorsement of Pascual after many years of staying away from politics.
