Planning on fisheries, agri modernization held

THE third day of the Stakeholder Planning Consultation regarding the National Agriculture and Fisheries Modernization and Industrial Plan (NAFMIP) 2020-2030 was held at Hacienda Gracia in Lubao town Thursday, January 20, 2022.

The meeting aimed to discuss the problems faced by farmers in Central Luzon as part of the modernization plan. The planning sessions are expected to finish until the 22nd of January.

Each province of Central Luzon has thoroughly analyzed the problems and limitations faced by agriculture and fisheries. Farmers, fishermen, private sectors and partner agencies are part of the consultation.

NAFMIP 2020-2030 aims to identify the problems faced by individual farmers based on the Department’s OneDA Pillars and to address and provide appropriate solutions to them.
