PNP-OLC conducts coastal cleanup drive in Zambales

THE Philippine National Police-Officers’ Ladies Club (PNP-OLC) conducted a coastal clean-up drive and gift giving activity in Zambales on Monday.

Superintendent Fe Grenas, chief of the Regional Public Information Office-Central Luzon, said the activity led by Cherrelyn Albayalde, PNP-OLC adviser and wife of PNP Chief Director General Oscar Albayalde.

Albayalde was with lawyer Sandra Marie Coronel, wife of Police Regional Office Central Luzon Director Chief Superintendent Joel Coronel, Regional Heath Service Central Luzon personnel led by Senior Superintendent Jezebel Medina, and Senior Superintendent Felix Verbo, Zambales Police provincial director, together with residents of Barangay Bangantalinga, Iba, Zambales in the coastal clean-up along the shoreline of the said barangay.

The PNP-OLC also conducted a gift giving activity for residents and families of fisher folk wherein grocery items, school supplies and school shoes were given to more than 100 families.

Aside from the projects, the PNP-OLC has been actively conducting various civic activities to support the PNP in bringing the police closer to the community. (Ric Sapnu)
