PSA, DA host meeting on data streamlining

THE Department of Agriculture (DA) Regional Field Office in Central Luzon conducted a consultation meeting with the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA) at Hacienda Gracia in Lubao town in a bid to hold the agriculture office in the region to streamline its data.

The meeting was facilitated by the Field Operations Division headed by its chief, Elma Mananes. It was virtually attended by provincial and regional representatives of PSA, provincial agriculturists and provincial veterinarians of Central Luzon.

The meeting is reconciliation and harmonization of DARFO Lentral Luzon’s agricultural data with PSA and local government units, which is an important part in the implementation of agricultural programs and projects to come up with baseline data for appropriate interventions.

During the meeting, regional data on different commodities were presented by the DA banner program coordinators.

Regional Technical Directors Dr. Eduardo Lapuz, Jr. and Dr. Arthur Dayrit also graced the said meeting with the presence of Agriculture Provincial Coordinators of Central Luzon.
