THE Rotary Club of Central Pampanga (RCCP) was recognized as one of the top performers in the end polio campaign of the Rotary Foundation recently.

RCCP was hailed as the Top 2 Highest Contributor to the Polio Plus Fund over 94 clubs in District 379. Grants supported out of the Polio Plus Fund are primarily geared towards national level and supra-national efforts.

Support is available for eradication efforts in polio-endemic, recently endemic, and high-risk countries, including National Immunization Days, poliovirus transmission monitoring, and other activities.

Rotarians from all over the country and the world have been mobilizing funds and support for the eradication of polio.

District Polio Chair Carla G. Espinosa thanked the Rotarians who contributed through donations as RCCP fulfills Rotary’s promise to the children of the world that no child will again suffer from the devastating effects of polio.
