CITY OF DSAN FERNANDO The Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) has announced completion of the 615-lineal meter portion of the 2.88-kilometer Dibalo-Dibut Municipal Road in Barangay Dibut in San Luis toewn, Aurora province.

The P19.80-million infrastructure consists of construction of a 6.7-meter portland cement concrete pavement and provision of paved shoulders with lined canals and catchwalls.

The upgraded road leading to the coastal village of Dibut connects locals not just to the town proper but also to the provincial capital of Baler and provides access to much-needed social services while at the same time facilitating convenient delivery of local agricultural products such as bananas and coconuts to market centers within and outside the province.

The DPWH said the road improvement project along the barangay Dibut section of the municipal road complements the 1.47-kilometer already paved portion in 2021.
