San Fernando Covid-19 cases reach 95

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- The number of active coronavirus cases in this capital city has reached 95 cases as 17 more cases were recorded, according to an August 8 bulletin of the City Information Office.

The total number of confirmed cases has now reached 143, with 47 recoveries and one death. At least 23 barangays of the city have active coronavirus cases.

Of the 95 active cases, most are in Barangays San Nicolas (17), Telabastagan (9), San Isidro (9),, Del Pilar (7), Juliana (8), Del Carmen (6), Alasas (9) and Sindalan (5).

Other barangays with confirmed cases include Baliti (1), Bulaon (2), Calulut (1), Del Rosario (1), Dolores (1), Lara (1), Maimpis (2), Magliman (1), Pandaras (1), Panipuan (2), Quebiawan (2), San Agustinb (1), San Jose (4), San Juan (3) and Sto. Rosario (1).

The city’s positivity rate is at 7 percent, the highest in Pampanga. The recovery rate is at 32.65 percent. The city also has the most number of active cases in Pampanga.
