THE City Government of San Fernando headed by Mayor Edwin Santiago on Monday, January 18, 2021, received a donation from the Jaime V. Ongpin Foundation, Inc. for its Embrace relief aid program.

The Jaime V. Foundation donated over 13,000 canned goods, which include corned beef, meatloaf, sardines and tuna products.

The donation was personally received by City General Services Officer Engineer Michael Quizon, Jr., City Health Officer-in-Charge Dr. Carlos Mercado, City Social Welfare and Development Officer Aileen Villanueva, and City Mayor's Office Chief Of Staff Mary Catherine Santiago.

Santiago recently said the City Government continues to distribute food and other relief assistance to Covid-19-affected Fernandinos and their families to help cope with the prevailing Covid-19 pandemic.

“This is a great help to the local government in addition to the distribution of aid to the Fernandino people,” he said.

The City Government also thanked those who extended help and continue to pitch in this pandemic. (JTD)
