HUNDREDS of employees of the City Government of San Fernando joined the “Mini Alay Lakad” on November 22, 2021 in one of city’s working compounds in Barangay Del Pilar.

Formed as support to the City of San Fernando Alay Lakad Foundation Inc., the charity walk was aimed at raising funds to support out-of-school youth education.

The City General Services Office and City Engineer’s Office became the first two city offices to organize the walk.

Mayor Edwin Santiago and Vice Mayor Jimmy Lazatin joined the event and once again vowed support to the foundation.

This year, the Alay Lakad Foundation Inc. is targeting to raise P1 million anew from public and private sector donors.

The City Government annually supports the cause by donating the same amount of money that the foundation could raise.

Foundation leaders are still calling on all Fernandinos to donate, by messaging their official Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/AlayLakadCSFP. (PR)
