CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Learners with special education needs of San Fernando Elementary School received hygiene kits from partners of Quota International (QI) of Pampanga.

Quota International Region 18 director Zelinda Barrios-Soto said that 300 hygiene kits and food treats were given to the students of the said school through the help of Quota International Region 19 director Maricel Wong in cooperation with International Pharmaceuticals Incorporated (IPI).

Quota Pampanga has a standing partnership with the San Fernando Elementary School for the support of its special education class. The hygiene kits were distributed under the Hand-in-Hand program of Quota Pampanga.

QI Pampanga president Nanny Garcia said that the club is in full support of San Fernando Elementary School and will continue to help children with disabilities in the city. Most of the students of the San Fernando Elementary School special education class, however, come not only from Pampanga but also as far as Bulacan.

QI of Pampanga is active in programs for disadvantaged children, bringing donations for the SPED class, among others.

Quotarians are known especially for their service to the deaf, hard-of-hearing, and speech-impaired individuals and poor women and children. Quota members share the values of serving and encouraging others, developing friendships, and promoting international understanding.
