THE City Government of San Fernando received on Sunday, March 21, 2021, the initial sets of AstraZeneca and CoronaVac (Sinovac) vaccines from the Department of Health (DOH) through a brief ceremonial turnover.

Officials of the DOH-Central Luzon Center for Health Development handed the 94 AstraZeneca vaccine vials and 81 CoronaVac vaccine vials to the City Health Office (CHO) at the health department's Cold Chain Office in Diosdado Macapagal Government Center in Maimpis.

The CHO said the utilization of the turned over sets of vaccines, along with other arriving sets, will be according to the City's master list of identified priority groups, guided by the procedure mandated by the DOH.

The vaccines are currently stored and safeguarded at a facility in Malpitic. (PR)
