TO FURTHER expedite its rollout of vaccines, the local government in San Luis, Pampanga over the weekend kicked off its vaccination drives per barangay.

Mayor Jayson Sagum said two vaccination sites were simultaneously opened on Saturday, August 14, 2021, in Barangay San Carlos and Sta. Catalina.

The vaccination site in Barangay San Carlos will cater to its residents as well as those from Sta. Rita and Sta. Lucia, while residents of Sta. Cruz Pambilog, San Sebastian and Sta. Catalina will be jabbed at the covered court of Barangay Sta. Catalina.

Sagum said barangay vaccine rollout is initially intended to vaccinate senior citizens or those under the A2 priority group, in which around 1,000 beneficiaries got jabbed during Saturday's activity.

After the senior citizen, the mayor said barangay vaccination rollout will be focused on those under the A3 category or persons with comorbidities.
