Sasmuan Covid cases now at 22 confirmed

CORONAVIRUS cases in Sasmuan town have now reached 22 confirmed cases as another new case was registered on August 7 according to a bulletin of the Rural Health Unit.

Of the 21 confirmed cases, 14 have already recovered while six are still active cases. Current active cases are from San Antonio (two), Santa Lucia (one), San Pedro (one), and Santa Monica (two). All six active cases are currently confined in healthcare facilities.

The town is currently monitoring some 80 persons. Since the start of the pandemic, this town had recorded 22 confirmed cases, two of which have died.
