School president formalizes bid for Sta. Ana mayor

Princess Clea Arcellaz

LAWYER and president of the lone tertiary school in Sta. Ana town, Pampanga Atty. Dennis Pangan has officially filed his certificate of candidacy for the mayorship of this municipality on Tuesday morning, October 5, 2021.

Pangan, who is running with former three-term mayor Omeng Concepcion, is seeking to provide reform on the kind of governance currently being delivered to his townmates.

"Nakikita ng mata ko ang naaamoy ng ilong ko ang baho ng sistema na meron ngayon sa aming bayan kaya nandito ako para bigyan ng pagpipilian ang aking mga kabalen," he said.

If elected, Pangan said he will prioritize the proper waste management in town, which has been a problem by residents in the town for the longest time.

He also vowed to construct a public hospital in town that would help boost the town's Covid-19 response program.

"Isa lang po ang pangako ko sa aking mga kabalen, hindi kayo mapapabayaan," Pangan said.

Also running as councilors under Pangan's slate are Tek Concepcion, Greg Del Rosario, Ephraim Matias and Oday Concepcion-Nacpil.
