Suspected pusher yields P1M in shabu

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- At least P1 million worth of suspected shabu was seized from an alleged notorious shabu pusher in Barangay Dolores, Magalang, Pampanga, Friday, May 3.

Joint elements of the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (2nd PMFC) and Magalang Municipal Police Station arrested July Moral Baluyut, 32, of Barangay Duquit, Mabalacat City.

Seized from his possession were more than 300 grams of shabu (methamphetamine hydrochloride) with an estimated market value of P1

million.

Lieutenant Colonel Michael Jhon Riego, Magalang police chief, said Baluyut was spotted roaming around the barangay hall of Dolores.

The Magalang police, with operatives from the 2nd Pampanga Provincial Mobile Force Company, proceeded to the area. When Baluyut saw the lawmen, he ran and a brief chase happened.

The suspect was cornered and arrested by the lawmen.

Baluyut is now detained at the Magalang police station. (Ric Sapnu)
