TARLAC Governor Susan Yap has bared programs to make the Christmas celebration of her constituents merrier.

"Sa mga susunod na araw, marami po tayong inihandang activities para maging masaya naman ang ating Pasko ngayong taon," the governor said.

(In the next few days, we have prepared many activities to make our Christmas happy this year.)

The past few months became hard for the residents because of the coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) pandemic, according to Yap.

"Alam ko ang mga nakaraang buwan ay naging mahirap dulot ng pandemya but this time, let's make our Christmas 2021 a happy and memorable one," she said.

(I know the past few months have been difficult due to the pandemic but this time, let’s make our Christmas 2021 a happy and memorable one.)

Yap mentioned some of the programs, including the Christmas bazaar at the Centro Mercato and the caroling competition, which will be held at the Camiling Church ruins.

The governor at the same time reminded the Tarlaquenos to continue observing health protocols as the country is still in the middle of the pandemic.

"Lahat po, habang tayo ay nagse-celebrate ng Kapaskuhan ay mag-ingat. Wear your face mask and social distancing at palaging mag-sanitize ng ating mga kamay," Yap said. "Sa aking mga kababayan, sana ay manatili ang ating mahal na Kristo sa ating mga puso ngayong Pasko.”

(Everyone, as we celebrate Christmas, be careful. Wear your face mask and social distancing and always sanitize our hands. To my fellow citizens, may our dear Christ remain in our hearts this Christmas.)
