TARLAC governor Susan Yap said the Tarlaquenos are her true inspiration in implementing various programs that bring recognitions and award to the province.

The governor said this after the Bureau of Local Government Finance (BLGF) named Tarlac as number 2 in the entire country to have collection efficiency of locally sourced revenues in 2019.

Aside from this, the province was also awarded as number 3 in the entire country to have year-on-year growth in locally sourced revenues in the same year, according to Yap.

She also disclosed that Tarlac was selected as a finalist in the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) Most Friendly LGU (Local Government Unit).

"Hindi lang po tayo naging finalist, nagkaroon parin po tayo ng special citation award which I am sharing with two other governors," Yap said.

The governor shared the province's awards to her constituents in a public address she posted on Facebook social media on Tuesday.

"Kayo pong mga kababayan kong Tarlaqueno ang tunay kong inspirasyon para isang serbisyong ma-Yap," she added.
