Tarlac PCP-1 leads war vs illegal drugs

Sunnexdesk

TARLAC CITY -- The Community Precinct-1 (PCP-1) here spearheaded by SDEU Chief and Commander Police Inspector Wilhelmino Well Alcantara and under the supervision of Tarlac City Chief of Police Superintendent Buenconseo is leading the anti-illegal drugs campaign of the city.

Awarded by the Tarlac Provincial Police Office for being the topnotcher in the campaign against illicit drugs, PCP-1 has been consistent in their drive despite tremendous pressure and meager resources or sometimes, lack of manpower.

It is not only “small fry” that PCP-1 has been targeting but even high value targets and elusive drug offenders and drug personalities thriving in their area of rsponsibility.

Just recently, they have been monitoring village officials who are reportedly into illegal drugs or have drug links. As per record, many barangays who have been drug infested in the past are now slowly but steadily being cleansed from illegal drugs syndicates and drug trade.

With the support of the city government of Mayor Cristy Angeles and every barangay official and support groups, the campaign against illegal drugs in the area have been reaping great results and eventually, Tarlac City, just like every Tarlaqueno dreams, will be a drug-free community.
