Tesda scholars in Aurora get allowances

AT LEAST 100 scholars of the Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (Tesda) in Aurora province recently received their allowances.

The support funds were given under Tesda's Special Training for Employment Program to 25 scholars in Dressmaking NC II, 25 scholars in Hilot (Wellness Massage) NC II and 50 scholars in Assembly of Solar Night Light and Post Lamp.

The financial training support funds were distributed by Aurora Lone District Representative Rommel Rico Angara, Tesda provincial director Genaro Ronald Ibay and Baler Mayor Rhett Ronan Angara during a ceremony held at Centro Baler.

According to Ibay, the delivery of the training programs were in partnership with the A.I.T. Advance Institute of Tarlac City, Aida Roque Academy of Hair and Beauty, Inc. and Floriana Bao Sadian Technical Vocational School Foundation.

During the ceremony, social distancing and other health protocols were observed in pursuant to the guidelines of the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases.
