CITY OF SAN FERNANDO -- Operatives from the 2nd Provincial Mobile Force Company (2nd PMFC), led by Police Lieutenant Colonel John Clark, arrested Quiterio Araneta for illegal possession of firearms and suspected illegal drugs.

The 2nd PMFC, with the Mabalacat Police, arrested the suspect by virtue of Warrant of Arrest dated April 3, 2019 for Violation of Sec 5 Art II RA 9165 (3 counts). The suspect is listed in the Top 5 Sibat Targets of Mabalacat.

Said suspect resisted arrest and tried to escape but arresting officers were able to get hold of the suspect. Police reports said that one cal. 45 with one inserted magazine, five live ammunitions of cal. 45; and three pieces of heat-sealed transparent small sachet containing suspected shabu were retrieved from the suspect.

Police added that the inventory of confiscated evidence was done at Barangay Hall of Mabiga due to inclement weather. The suspect was then brought to the Mabalacat Police Station for documentation and proper disposition.
