OFFICIALS of the City of San Fernando Water District (CSFWD), in partnership with PrimeWater San Fernando, led the groundbreaking ceremony for the elevated water tank in Barangay San Pedro Cutud.

The new project is part of a series of development works to be undertaken by PrimeWater San Fernando this year. The project also includes the commissioning of a new generator set to ensure adequate water supply even during power interruptions.

PrimeWater San Fernando branch manager Jan Canlas told Sun.Star Pampanga that the project aims to improve the water supply and pressure in the area.

He added that the project is part of PrimeWater’s commitment to better the services provided by CSFWD to its concessionaires.

Canlas earlier told Sun.Star Pampanga that at least four water pumping stations will be set for full operation in the coming weeks.

These include stations for San Nicolas, Bulaon, Saint Jude Village and Calulut. He added that the pumping stations will greatly improve the operational capability and the water pressure coming from the water district.

He said that three generator sets will also be installed aside from the six generator sets that have already been deployed.

Canlas said that under the joint venture, three major projects to improve the delivery of potable water and services to concessionaires included pipe extension, deep well development and the installation of generator sets in selected pumping station and bulk water stations.
