ANGELES CITY -- A young painter here is set to donate the proceeds from the sale of her artworks to a child suffering from hydrocephalus.

At least 10 paintings of seven-year-old Bella Manuel, the daughter of Angeles City Hall Executive Assistant IV Reina Manuel, are for sale at the city's One Town One Product (OTOP) shop.

The proceeds from Bella's painting will be donated to Baby “Sean," an eight-year-old boy from Pulung Cacutud who has hydrocephalus. Some of the distinctive features of babies with hydrocephalus include a large head and downward-looking eyes. The condition can also cause seizures, episodes of vomiting, muscle spasms and difficulty walking.

When Bella learned about the condition of Baby “Sean," she asked her mother how she could do something in her little way to help the sick boy.

“As much as we can, we want to provide support to those who need it most. Our family wants to do something for people who have the condition,” Reina, Bella's mother, said.

Bella started painting when she was four years old at the Global Arts Pampanga.
