PH gets 1 silver, 2 bronze on 3rd day of SEA Games swimming

NEW CLARK CITY, Tarlac -- The Philippines got a silver and two bronze medals on the third day of swimming competition of the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.

The host nation secured a silver in the men’s 4x100m freestyle relay. Singapore nabbed the gold while Vietnam took home the bronze.

Remedy Alexis Rule ended with a bronze in the women’s 200m freestyle. Thi Anh Vien Nguyen of Vietnam placed first and got the gold while Natthanan Junkrajang of Thailand settled for silver.

Chloe Kennedy Anne Isleta made a bronze medal finish in women’s 200m backstroke. Thi Anh Vien Nguyen of Vietnam again captured the Gold while Nurul Fitriyati of Indonesia had a silver.

Singapore continues to dominate the SEA Games swimming competition. Out of the six Golds up for grabs on Day 3, it won three. Vietnam took home two while Malaysia topped one. (PIA-Central Luzon)
