Sunnexdesk

THE number of confirmed cases of coronavirus disease (Covid-19) in the Philippines has continued to increase since the country reported its first case in January 2020.

As of April 1, or two months after the first case was reported, more than 2,300 people have been infected by the new virus. Authorities said the number of cases will continue to increase as more test kits become available and sub-national laboratories get certified and are now allowed to release results of tests conducted on patients under investigation for the dreaded disease.

Below is a timeline showing the increase in the number of confirmed cases in the Philippines since January 30, 2020.
