Mokabat sa 251 ka mga determinadong aplikante nga naglaraw ug nangandoy nga mahimong usa ka propesyunal nga membro sa Philippine Army ang nanumpa sa 4th Infantry “Diamond” Division, Philippine Army, Camp Evangelista, Patag, Dakbayan sa Cagayan de Oro, niadtong alas 3:30, Martes sa hapon, Hunyo 4, 2019.

Gibutyag ni Major General Franco Nemesio Gacal, Commander sa 4ID, nga bukas kini sa mga batan-on nga adunay kaikag nga mahimong sundalo.

Ang Division Training School maoy mag-train kanila ug mo-transform aron mahimo silang usa ka propesyunal nga sundalo nga dako og tabang sa kampanya batok sa armed conflict sa Northern Mindanao.

“This is a welcome infusion of younger generation who has the burning desire to become professional soldiers in the Philippine Army. The Division Training School will properly train and transform them so that in the days to come, they will significantly contribute to the government’s campaign of ending local communist armed conflict in Regions 10 and Caraga,” matud ni Gacal.

“Do your best, train hard and learn the basics because while you are training, 4ID will carry on with its campaign to sustain the peace in the area. There will be no let-up in our operations until Communist NPA Terrorists surrender and avail of the Enhanced Comprehensive Local Integration Program (E-Clip),” pasabot ni Gacal.

Ang Candidate Soldier Selection Board unang mirekomendar sa latest batch sa gusto mosulod sa pagka-sundalo nga gilangkoban sa 236 ka mga lalaki ug 15 ka mga babae nga nagikan sa Zamboanga Peninsula, Northern Mindanao, Davao region ug sa Caraga.

Metikuloso ug labihan ka komprehensibo ang pagpili kanila sama sa pagpasar sa written exams, physical and medical exams, trade test, board interviews ug pagkumpleto sa basic clearances gikan sa mga nagkadaiyang buhatan sa gobyerno.

Sa kinatibuk-an adunay 558 ka mga aplikante apan kini lamang ang nahibilin ug napili ug adunay kaikag nga mokumpleto sa mga rekisitos.

Ang mga candidate soldiers nipaubos og six-months of intensive military training.

Sa iyang bahin ni Floriza Maca, 24, graduate sa Bachelor of Science in Hotel and Restaurant Management ug usa ka IP member sa Manobo tribe gikan sa San Miguel, Surigao del Sur malipayon nga nakasulod sa training.

“I’m very much thankful to God for giving me this opportunity, I’ll do my best so that I could help my parents, other members of our tribe and the community. It is an honor and privilege for me as an IP to join this noble profession of arms. It is a dream come true to be able to serve and become one of the respected heroes in our country,” matud niini.

Sa iyang bahin sab ni Aldo Maderal, 24, usa ka licensed criminologist gikan sa Balingasag, Misamis Oriental nga nalipay siya niini.

“I am thankful to the government because my family is a 4Ps recipient. I also grew up in a conflict affected area and observed the hardships in our community. This will serve as my motivation to strive hard and finish the training so that later on, I can be of greater help to my community and set as an example to the youth in our barangay,” sulti ni Maderal.
