Recovery rate in Cagayan de Oro down at 76.81%

THE recovery rate of Cagayan de Oro has gone down to 76.81 percent, while the active cases rose to 1,434.

The total number of those who have recovered from the disease is now at 5,883 after the city recorded 65 new Covid-positive recovered patients.

Of the 5,883 recoveries, 313 were locally stranded individuals (LSIs), 124 were returning overseas Filipinos (ROFs), and 5,446 were local cases (community: 4,585; Apors: 861).

As of 10 p.m. of June 3, 120 residents of the city tested positive for the novel coronavirus, 38 of which were local cases with link, 20 were local persons outside residence (Apors), 39 were local index cases, 20 were persons deprived of liberty (PDLs), and three deaths, according to Acting City Health Officer Dr. Lorraine Nery.

The total number of confirmed cases in Cagayan de Oro is now at 7,659.

Of the 7,659 total Covid-19 cases in the city, 440 were under the ROFs/LSIs category and 7,219 cases were local transmissions.

Cagayan de Oro recorded 1,434 active cases, 354 of whom were admitted to the Northern Mindanao Medical Center and other hospitals in the city, 1,097 were outpatients, and one LSI.

The number of Covid-19 deaths in the city is now at 342.
