Ang Department of Labor and Employment (Dole) niluwat og pamahayag niadtong Biyernes, Hunyo 10, nga nihangop sa pag-ubos o pagminus sa gidaghanon sa mga Filipino nga walay trabaho ning naghinapos nga administrasyon ni Presidente Rodrigo Duterte nga kutob na lang sa Hunyo 30, 2022.

Si Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III nagkanayon nga 2.76 milyunes na lang ang unemployed Filipinos usa ka maayong kalamboan nga gibilin ni Duterte sa iyang pagkanaug sa gahom.

“We are turning over a labor market that is in a far better condition than what we previously had because of the pandemic, as shown in the April 2022 Labor Force Survey,” matod ni Bello.

“We are ending our term in office this month on a happy note,” dason niya.

Niadtong Biyernes, ang ulahing Labor Force Survey (LFS) nagpakita nga 2.76 milyunes ka unemployed Filipinos sa April 2022.

Kini nga gidaghanon mas ubos og 4.14 milyunes nga walay trabaho kon itande sa Abril 2021, ug ang 2.87 milyunes nga unemployed sa Marso 2022.

Apan ang kalihim sa Dole niangkon nga nagpabilin siya nga concerned bahin sa mga hagit nga giatubang sa mga mamumuo.

Tungod usab sa nagpadayon pa ang pandemiya sa coronavirus disease 2019 (Covid-19) lakip sa epekto sa pagtaas sa presyo sa lana, pagkaon ug ubang batakang palaliton.

“DOLE is monitoring developments on this, and stands ready to act to help our workers through emergency employment, livelihood grants, and employment facilitation services, among others,” matod ni Bello.

Uban sa umaabot nga administrasyon ni Marcos sa Hunyo 30, si Bello nagkanayon nga naglaum nga matubag kini sa mga bag-ong opisyal.

“We are confident that the incoming administration will be able to sustain the gains that we had, and even surpass them,” matod ni Bello.
