SI PRESIDENTE Rodrigo Duterte niawhag na usab sa local government officials nga tugtan nga makauli ang overseas Filipino workers (OFW) samtang iya silang gipahinumdoman nga ang kagamhanan lang ang mahimong makadili.

Matod ni Duterte nga dunay 24,000 ka mga OFW nga stranded sa quarantine centers sa Metro Manila.

Dunay 302 dugang OFW nga umaabotay ug laing 62,000 nga moabot kon ang mga airport buksan na, matod sa Presidente, nga nikutlo kang Labor Secretary Silvestre Bello III.

“‘Pag hindi nyo tinanggap yan, magkagulo tayo, ang Pilipinas,” matod ni Duterte sa usa ka tigom tali sa piniling mga opisyal sa kagamhanan sa Lunes sa gabii, Mayo 25.

“In their desire to protect their respective turf or territories, I can say if that is the way they would handle it like a chieftain of a city or province during a pandemic time, okay 'yan. Pero alam mo hindi naman lahat talaga nagkasakit (not everybody is sick) and it is very cruel actually to deny them to go home,” siya nidugang.

“You know, I’m ordering you to accept them, open the gates of your territories and allow the Filipino to travel wherever they want,” matod sa Presidente.
