ORMOC CITY, LEYTE--Nanawagan si Ormoc City Mayor Richard Gomez sa tanan Pilipino nga magkahiusa ug suportahan ang mga atletang pinoy sa 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games 2019.

Si Gomez, kinsa usab ang Philippine Olympic Committee Deputy Secretary General, nga nahinabi sa The Source sa CNN Philippines mitug-an nga dunay pipila ka ginagmay nga problema sa preparasyon sa duwa.

Si Gomez miingon nga mismo siya niadtong miapil siya sa SEA Games nakasinati og susamang problema sa laing nasud.

"Na-encounter na namin yan. Waiting in ariport for 3 hours at yung hotel hindi pa ready yung kwarto. It happens" matod ni Gomez.

Matod ni Gomez, dili malikayan nga dunay mga minor glitches sa usa ka preparasyon sama sa nahitabo karon sa SEA Games 2019.

"So far so good, this is not a perfect organization. Every once in a while magkakaroon talaga ng failure. But the important is that naayos kaagad at nahahabol," matod ni Gomez.

Bisan niini, aminado si Gomez nga gibuhat sa Philippine Southeast Asian Games Organizing Committee (Phisgoc) ang tanan aron mamahimong hapsay ang pagpahigayon sa SEA Games.

"I know the Phisgoc is trying their best to give the best accomodation possible. May funds naman available but hindi mo maiiwasan talaga na there are glitches. But these are all minor glitches," pasabot ni Gomez.

Uyon usab si Gomez sa himuon nga imbestigasyon sa senado ug sa Malacañang.

"If there is a need to investigate then lets do it after the games," dugang ni Gomez.
