GIPAUBOS sa kinalit nga drug test ang mga pulis sa Talisay City Police Station (TCPS) Sabado sa buntag, Nobiyembre 16, 2019.

Usa kini sa unang programa sa bag-ong naumol nga City Advisory Council for Police Transformation and Development (CACPTD) sa Dakbayan sa Talisay.

Ang drug test gipahigayon aron pagsiguro nga ang mga pulis sa Talisay limpyo gikan sa ilegal nga drugas.

Matud ni Police Major Gerard Ace Pelare, pangulo sa TCPS, nga 61 sa ilang mga pulis ang napaubos sa surprise drug test, diin tanan nagnegatibo.

"The activity was done to make sure that those who are tasked to implement the law are not in any way involved in illegal drug use or trade and are really one with our cause of minimizing the illegal drug problem," tipik sa gipadala nga statement ni Pelare.

Nasayran nga niadtong Biyernes, Nobiyembre 15, nanumpa ang mga sakop sa CACPTD nga gilangkuban sa mga konsehal ug mga representante sa nagkadaiya nga sektor, kinsa gipangulohan ni Mayor Gerald Anthony Gullas.

"An MOU (memorandum of understanding) will be signed next week to signal the regularity of the surprise drug test as well as to forge partnership with the owner of the company," dugang pamahayag ni Pelare. (FMD/JGS)
