GIPANEGURO sa Gymnastics Association of the Philippines (GAP) nga naa sa saktong kondisyon si Carlos Yulo ug andam kining mokombati sa gymanstics event sa Tokyo Olympics.

Si Yulo maoy usa sa labing gilauman sa Pilipinas nga makalabni og medalya sa matag upat ka mga tuig nga kompetisyon.

Giangkon ni GAP president Cynthia Carrion nga nakasinati og sakit sa iyang bat-ang atol sa training, duha ka mga semana ang nakalabay.

Hinuon gitataw ni Carrion nga hingpit nang naalim si Yulo pipila ka mga adlaw sa wala pa sugdi ang kompetisyon.

“He has no injury now. I can say that Caloy is really 100 percent okay for the Olympics,” asoy ni Carrion sa interbyu sa GMA News Online.

“He hurt his hip while doing a triple back routine in the floor exercise and it’s not an easy routine. But he’s not injured anymore. He’s okay.”

Si Yulo, 21, mokombati sa pito ka events sa artistic gymnastics nga mao ang men’s all-around, floor, horizontal bar, parallel bar, pommel horse, rings, ug vault. Karong adlawa sugdan ang qualifying round.

“He’s fine and there’s nothing to worry about,” pagtino ni Carrion. (ESL)
