NAHIMONG national awardee ang pagpaningkamot sa Barangay Mintal Dragon Boat Team sa Juvenile Justice and Welfare Council (JJWC) alang sa ilang Search for Good Practices sa LGUs sa implementasyon sa Juvenile Justice and Welfare Act.

Kini atol sa selebrasyon sa 7th Juvenile Justice and Welfare Consciousness Week karong Nobyembre 26 sa Manila.

Si Barangay Mintal Kapitan Rey Amador Bargamento nakadawat nang daan og congratulatory letter gikan sa JJWC niadtong Lunes, Nobyembre 12.

“Barangay Mintal's Dragon Boat team has been selected by the National Awards Committee (NAC) to be one of the awardees of this year's search,” sulti ni JJWC executive director lawyer Tricia Claire Oco pinaagi sa usa ka suwat.

Ang selebrasyon sa Juvenile Justice and Welfare Consciousness Week karong tuiga dunay temang, “Lipunan, Bata at Magulang, Sabay-sabay para sa Kaunlaran”, diin sumpay ni Oco, “recognizes the critical role of the society, the parents and families, and the children themselves in ensuring the fulfillment of rights of all children especially those at risk and in conflict with the law.”

Sa ilang Facebook page, ang Barangay Mintal gidayeg sab sa ilang mga kaubanang finalists nga munisipalidad sama sa Municipality of San Fernando, La Union, Dapitan City Government ug sa Zamboanga del Norte ingon man ang mga nagpasiugda likod sa Base Camp Dragons kinsa maoy nagtudlo sa mga kabataan sa fundamentals sa dragon boat isip kabahin sa paugnat sa kusog.

Ang team nagpasalamat pinaagi sa ilang Barangay Mintal Facebook page ngadto sa lokal nga kagamhanan sa Davao City nga gipangunahan ni Davao City Mayor Sara Duterte-Carpio ug sa uban pang nagsuporta kanila, “who gave their time and their resources in supporting this intervention program”.
