2 Covid-19 patients, young farmer die in apparent suicide

TWO patients with coronavirus disease (Covid-19) and a young farmer died in an apparent suicide in separate areas in Eastern Visayas.

In Tacloban City, police said a teacher who was infected with the virus was found dead on Thursday morning, June 10, 2021.

On Wednesday, June 9, a 33-year-old fisherman also killed himself after he tested positive for the Covid-19 virus in Lawaan, Eastern Samar.

In Ormoc City, police said a 19-year-old farmer also shot himself after an alleged misunderstanding with his girlfriend on Wednesday evening.

Authorities are investigating the incidents.
