2 most wanted persons nabbed in Northern Samar

POLICE arrested on Monday, July 6, the two top most wanted persons in Lapinig, Northern Samar.

The two accused were identified as Juancho Roncales, 52, number 2 most wanted person; and Reynaldo Calda, 61, the number 4 most wanted.

Both are farmers and residents of Lapinig town.

Lapinig Municipal Police Station, led by Lieutenant Wilmer Basarte, officer-in-charge, arrested Roncales and Calda by virtue of a warrant of arrest dated October 30, 2002 for murder.

The warrant was issued by Judge Salvador Infante of Regional Trial Court-Branch 21 in Laoang, Northern Samar, without a recommended bail bond.

The two accused were brought to Lapinig Municipal Police Station for documentation prior to turnover to the court of origin. (SunStar Philippines)
