Female bar employee, 24, raped, killed in Biliran

A 24-YEAR-OLD female KTV bar worker was raped and killed by still unidentified suspect in Naval, Biliran.

The victim was identified as Michelle Flores, alias “Princess Mae Flores”, a native of Tabango, Leyte and presently residing at V & C compound in Barangay Sto. Niño of the said town.

A delivery van driver found her dead body in front of LBC warehouse at Barangay Santisimo Rosario, Naval around 7 a.m. Wednesday, May 27, police said in an initial report.

Based on the closed-circuit television footage, the victim along with the unidentified suspect entered the warehouse area at around 1:30 a.m. Wednesday.

The suspect then smashed her face to the pavement several times before she was raped.

He again smashed her face to the floor and left her dead.

The body of the victim was brought to Rural Health Unity (RHU)-Naval for post mortem examination.

Police are conducting follow-up investigation for the arrest of the suspect. (SunStar Philippines)
