Gunmen torch P32-million heavy equipment in Northern Samar

AROUND 20 armed men torched down P32-million worth of heavy equipment in Barangay San Francisco, Las Navas, Northern Samar Thursday, July 29, 2021.

Authorities said the suspected rebel group burned 10 different kinds of heavy equipment owned by a private company around 4 a.m. Thursday.

The construction equipment include two backhoes, a bulldozer, loader, dump truck, self-loading truck prime mover, crane, grader, welding generator set, and a road roller.

As of Thursday afternoon, no armed group has come forward to own the said burning of equipment.
