Most wanted man in Mimaropa nabbed in Eastern Visayas

THE Rank 2 most wanted person (provincial level) in Mimaropa was arrested in Eastern Visayas, following a manhunt operation on Friday, October 8, 2021.

The accused, Eduardo “Ediegario” Libbres Alaan, 55, was facing four counts of rape, with no recommended bail bond.

He was arrested by operatives of San Juan Municipal Police Station in Southern Leyte, led by Lieutenant Joel Carbonilla, together with the manhunt Charlie tracker team of Naujan Municipal Police Station in Oriental Mindoro, Mimaropa, led by Lieutenant Colonel Ruden Fulache.

Alaan, married and jobless, was a resident of Barangay Bobon-A in San Juan town.

The accused has been placed under the custody of San Juan Municipal Station for documentation prior to turnover to the court of origin. (SunStar Philippines)
