Quezon City’s most wanted falls in Leyte

A MAN wanted for rape and robbery in Quezon City was arrested by joint police operatives in Sta. Fe, Leyte Thursday, February 11, 2021.

Ricky Lagario, single and of legal age, was arrested at his residence in Baculanad, Sta. Fe by operatives of the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group-Regional Field Unit (CIDG-RFU) in Eastern Visayas, Sta. Fe Municipal Police Station, Burauen Municipal Police Station, and PS2 personnel led by Lieutenant Ramil Caldona.

Authorities identified Lagario as most wanted person of Quezon City Police District-Station 9, who is facing a warrant of arrest dated October 2, 2015.

Honorable Rita Marilyn Payoyo-Villordon, presiding judge of Regional Trial Court- National Judicial Capital Region Branch 224 in Quezon City, did not recommend bail for the accused, the police said.

The arrested person is now under the custody of CIDG-RFU-Eastern Visayas for booking and proper disposition. (SunStar Philippines)
