Tacloban village fetes oldest person

FELISA Estopin Esporas, 98, received a plaque and P5,000 cash prize after she was named the oldest person by the Senior Citizens Association (SCA) of Barangay 109 V and G Subdivision in Tacloban City recently.

SCA organized the search for the oldest living resident of Barangay 109 in observance of the Senior Citizens Month, according to the Tacloban City Information Office.

Flordelis Menzon, SCA president, led the medical mission and fellowship of the senior citizens in the barangay.

Also joining the celebration were City Councilor Elvira Casal, representing Mayor Alfred Romualdez; Councilor Jom Bagulaya; and Barangay 109 Chairman Raymond Balagapo, along with his officials.
