Police Captain Albin Cabayacruz, Zamboanga City Police Office’s (ZCPO) Station 7 chief, disclosed the incident happened shortly before 10 p.m. Wednesday on Fr. Salvador Street in Santa Maria village, Zamboanga City.

Cabayacruz identified the fatality as George Lozada Pioquinto, 50, and wounded as Police Staff Sergeant Muktar Maharail Ali, 37. Both were driving motorcycles at the time of the incident.
