2 crime group members surrender in Zambo Sigugay

TWO members of a crime group have surrendered to government authorities in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, a top police official said Wednesday, February 23, 2022.

Police Colonel albert Larubis, Zamboanga Sibugay police director, identified them as Haron Abdulla Talawidan alias Ustadz Haron Talawidan, 52; and Abdurahman Segundo Tabong, alias Maman, 54.

Larubis said that Talawidan surrendered around 9:50 a.m. Tuesday, February 22, in Sitio Kolampang in Mamagon, Naga, Zamboanga Sibugay.

Ustadz Omar Jaukal, a Muslim religious leader, witnessed the surrender of Talawidan to the policemen and intelligence operatives.

Larubis said that Tabong surrendered around 2:30 p.m. Tuesday in Mamagon village, Naga.

Larubis said that Tabong surrendered to policemen and intelligence operatives. The surrender was witnessed by Mamagon Village Chief Khadapi Mojackarin Asgal.

He said the two were released after undergoing custodial debriefing. (SunStar Zamboanga)
