2 vendors nabbed in anti-drug sting

TWO ambulant vendors were arrested by policemen in an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga City, the police said Friday, February 21.

Police Captain Edwin Duco, Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) information officer, identified the arrested suspects as Tinalyn Adjmin, 46, and Nurul-in Abdulla, 46.

Duco said the two were arrested by the Station Drug Enforcement Team (SDET) personnel of the Police Station 7 around 12:55 a.m. Thursday at Martha Drive in the village of Sta. Barbara, this city.

He said seized from them were some P7,000 worth of suspected “shabu” (methamphetamine hydrochloride) packed in three heat-sealed plastic sachets and P200 marked money.

He said the suspects were detained while appropriate charges are set to be filed against them. (SunStar Zamboanga)
