3 arrested in anti-drug operations

A FISH trader and two others were arrested in separate anti-drug operations in Zamboanga City, the police reported Monday, November 30, 2020.

The Zamboanga City Police Office (ZCPO) identified the arrested suspects as Sajili Damsik Ledesma, 35; Bentong Andong Amilhasan, 18; and, Mark Justine Alpeche, 18.

The ZCPO said Ledesma, a fish trader, was arrested in possession of some P5,000 suspected shabu and P200 marked money in a buy-bust operation around 4:55 p.m. Sunday in Sitio Sibictol, Arena Blanco village, this city.

The police said Amilhasan yielded some P2,700 suspected shabu and P200 marked money when arrested in a buy-bust operation around 11:30 p.m. Sunday in Sitio Asinan, Kasanyangan village, this city.

Recovered from Alpeche were some P2,500 worth of suspected shabu and P200 marked money when arrested in a buy-bust operation around 7 p.m. Sunday in Purok 2-B, Santo Niño village, this city.

The suspects were detained while charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against them, the police added. (SunStar Zamboanga)
