4th most wanted nabbed in Sibugay town

AUTHORITIES have arrested a militiaman listed as one of the most wanted persons in a law enforcement operation in the province of Zamboanga Sibugay, the police reported Friday, January 13, 2023.

Police Colonel Eduard Mallo, Zamboanga Sibugay police director, identified the arrested most wanted person as Almadin Dela Torre, 23, a resident of Purok 7 in Balagon village, Siay.

Mallo said Dela Torre was arrested in a law enforcement operation by way of service of warrant of arrest around 9:17 a.m. Thursday, January 12, in Purok 3, Dacanay village, Siay, Zamboanga Sibugay.

He said Dela Torre is listed as the fourth most wanted person in the town of Siay.

Mallo said Dela Torre has standing warrant of arrest for the crime of homicide with P120,000 recommended bail dated October 25, 2022 issued by the court of Ipil, Zamboanga Sibugay.

He said the suspect was placed under the custody of Siay Municipal Police Station for proper disposition. (SunStar Zamboanga)
