LAWMEN have arrested a driver in an anti-drug operation in Zamboanga City, the police reported Friday, July 3, 2020.

Police Major Helen Galvez, Police Regional Office-Zamboanga Peninsula information officer, identified the suspect as Joselito Custodio, 55, a resident of San Roque village, this city.

Galvez said Custodio was arrested in a buy-bust operation around 2:40 a.m. Thursday in Sitio Pasay in the village of San Roque.

Galvez said recovered from Custodio’s possession were some P6,000 worth of suspected shabu and P200 marked money consisting of two P100 bills.

She said the suspect was detained while appropriate charges are set to be filed against him. (SunStar Zamboanga)
